First performed in September 2013 for the Irish Literary Society in London, the programme features readings of and commentaries on Heaney’s poetry, as well as specially filmed interviews with Roy Foster and Bernard O’Donoghue. It also incorporates extracts from Charlie McCarthy’s documentary, Out of the Marvellous , produced by IceBox Films for RTE on the occasion of the poet’s 70th birthday.
