SpokenWeb invites applications from Black poets, spoken word artists, sound artists and curators whose work explores Black experience in Canada through the use of voice and sound.

Two fellowships of $5000 each will be offered through this program. Each successful candidate will receive a $5000 fellowship payable for a (virtual and/or in person) residency/creation period from September 1 – December 31, 2020, or, from January 1 – April 30 2021, as suitable to the project and recipient.
