2022 Pacific Spirit Poetry Prize: Deadline Extended

October 31, 2022, 11:59 PM PDT

Free – $45

We are excited to announce that our annual PRISM international Pacific Spirit Poetry Prize is now open for submissions. We are so honoured to have the amazing judge Grace Lau.

Grace is a settler living in Ontario on the traditional and Treaty territory of the Anishinabek people, now known as the Chippewa Tri-Council comprised of the Beausoleil, Rama, and Georgina Island First Nations. Her debut collection of poetry, The Language We Were Never Taught to Speak, is published by Guernica Editions and is a Lambda Literary Award finalist. Her work can be found in Grain Magazine, Contemporary Verse 2, Arc Poetry, and elsewhere. Find her on social media at @thrillandgrace.

Please read the full contest Rules and Regulations for The Pacific Spirit Poetry Prize and on our Contests page, and submit via Submittable.

Free submissions for Black and Indigenous writers and a limited number of free submissions for low-income folks. We can’t wait to read your stuff!
