As part of his Gould Fellowship at Claremont McKenna College, August Kleinzahler will discuss the nature and practice of poetry in a public talk. This event will provide an opportunity for the general public to engage with a writer once described as a mixture of Allen Ginsberg combined with “Norman Mailer’s inveterate pugnacity.”
