The Boneshaker Reading Series hosted by Lillian Necakov is a monthly event that takes place at the St. Clair/Silverthorn branch of the Toronto Public Library. The series has been running for close to four years and has hosted authors such as David W. McFadden, 2013 Griffin Poetry Prize winner, Maggie Helwig author of Girls Fall Down, 2012 One Book Toronto and Peter Norman, shortlisted for the 2011 Trillium Book Award.

This is an eclectic, vibrant series run out of a small neighbourhood library that brings in audiences from all over the city. There is real community feel to the evenings and it is a chance for locals and visitors to come together over great literature.

This edition of the reading series welcomes Stevie Howell, Mugabi Byenka and Aparna Shah.
