Burn After Reading is a community of emerging poets established by Jacob Sam-La Rose that manifests a diverse range of poetics from ‘spoken word’ to ‘page’ and points in between.
This evening, members of the Burn After Reading community will be performing alongside Birmingham’s BEATROOTS – a young poetry collective determined to express themselves through the power of spoken word. These maverick young poets, with their mentors as the feature acts, will be showing London exactly what the next generation of writers has to offer.
