In celebration of spring and all that is beautiful, CBC Books is will be hosting an online poetry contest on Tuesday, April 7.
For the Quickie Couplet Contest, nine Canadian poets have provided us with the first line of a rhyming couplet. These lines will be Tweeted and posted on Facebook, one every hour, starting at 9 a.m. ET. It’ll be up to you to complete the couplet using the same rhyme and metre in the second line.
