The Galiano Literary Festival is run by Galiano Island Books, one of the few remaining independent bookstores in British Columbia. The bookstore has been on the island for over 10 years, and has become a hub of the island community. Now in its sixth year, the Festival and number of attendees has grown with each year and the organizers look forward to an even more successful event this year with a fabulous line-up of wonderful authors coming to their lovely island! Participants this year include poet George Bowering, biographer Sandra Djwa and many more.
