The Sawdust Reading Series is an Ottawa-based series shining a light on both sung and unsung Ottawa poets. The Sawdust Reading Series events occur on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at Pour Boy, 495 Somerset St. W. in Ottawa, Ontario. Events include an open mic, a curated feature, and a monthly contest winner.
This evening, in celebration of Black History Month, the Sawdust Reading Series is extremely proud to present our deeply esteemed Parliamentary Poet Laureate of Canada, George Elliott Clarke. Sawdust extends its sincere thanks to the Library of Parliament for facilitating George’s reading.
