The Wordsmiths Reading Series at Bucks County Community College presents nationally acclaimed poet Gerald Stern at 7:30 p.m. Friday December 6 on the Newtown campus.
Stern has written 15 books of poetry, including This Time: New and Selected Poems, which won the 1998 National Book Award. He has also won the Ruth Lilly Prize and the Wallace Stevens Award, the Jewish Book Award, and, in 2012, the Rebekah Johnson Bobbit National Prize for Poetry from the Library of Congress, among many other accolades.
