Imagined Landscapes is a collaboration between 2004 Griffin Poetry Prize winner Anne Simpson and photographer John Berridge.
“The poems of Imagined Landscapes were written specifically for this exhibit. While the photos and poems have their own integrity, rather than illustrating each other, they “speak” in a conversation. The inspiration comes from Buddhist “tonglen” meditation, or sending compassion in each of the four directions.” Anne Simpson
