The Play Chthonics reading series showcases innovative poetry, narrative, and cross-genre writing. The series encourages creative, interdisciplinary conversations among writers, students, faculty, and community members in Vancouver. The series has been supported by the Canada Council and the following UBC institutions and programs: the International Canadian Studies Centre, Green College, the Department of English, the First Nations Studies Program, the Program for Critical Studies in Sexuality, and the Center for Cross-Faculty Inquiry.
