Ledbury Poetry welcomes applications for a Director to provide sabbatical cover for 18 months and ensure that Ledbury Poetry continues to operate successfully with high artistic standards.

You will be leading one of the most significant and influential poetry organisations in the UK during an exciting moment in its development. Your skills and abilities will contribute to creating excellence and to promoting the artform, locally, nationally, and internationally. You will gain significant experience in a senior managerial role with one of the country’s leading arts providers.

The successful candidate will lead on the artistic vision, provide strategic leadership to the charity and the dedicated and experienced team.

Job Description

Working hours: 5 days per week. Salary range: £34,000 – £36,000 dependent upon experience. Contract duration: 18 months, fixed term. We can offer hybrid working arrangements. However, we will expect the successful candidate to spend substantial, meaningful in-person time working in Ledbury in the Poetry House. Applications that propose a job share will be considered.
