On April 18, Papyrus stores throughout New York City will partner with the Academy of American Poets in celebration of National Poetry Month by featuring local poets reading poems and signing their new books. 12 pm at 10 Columbus Circle: Rachel Eliza Griffiths reading from and signing Lighting the Shadow. 2 pm at 678 Hudson Street: Brett Fletcher Lauer and Lynn Melnick reading from and signing Please Excuse This Poem: 100 New Poets for the Next Generation. 4 pm at 73 Spring Street: Nathalie Handal reading from and signing The Republics.
