Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop (NOWW) has grown into the largest literary organization in Northwestern Ontario, boasting a strong track record of service to writers and the community. Their mission is to encourage and promote the development of the writers and literature of Northwestern Ontario.

The poetry category of their annual writing contest will be judged this year by 2015 Griffin Poetry Prize winner Jane Munro.
