Obsidian Foundation is a new foundation for Black poets of African descent, launched by award-winning poet Nick Makoha.

As part of Obsidian Foundation’s first week-long writing and networking retreat this autumn, The Poetry Society is delighted to present a showcase of tutors’ and participants’ latest work.

Tutor poets Nick Mahoka, Theresa Lola and Malika Booker will be joined by ten participants from the retreat.
