The Poetry In Voice/Les voix de la poésie National Finals take place over two days each spring in a different Canadian city. Students first recite at the Qualifiers, then the three top-scoring competitors from each stream advance to the Awards Show, where they recite for a captive audience. Canadian poets, actors, and other cultural figures judge the recitations and award nearly $25,000 in prizes and name a National Champion in each stream.
