February 7, 2014, 12:00 AM EST
This one-day symposium will accompany an exhibition, “Robert Creeley’s Library: The Poet’s Books as Art Museum and Network of Communications,” in the Hesburgh Library’s Special Collections and also the publication of The Selected Letters of Robert Creeley, co-edited by PhD alumnus Kaplan Harris, who is associate professor of English at St. Bonaventure University. The symposium participants include Harris, Penelope Creeley (the poet’s widow), Steve Clay (author, publisher, book dealer), and a panel of current Notre Dame graduate students who have worked cataloging our modern poetry collections.
