Strokestown International Poetry Festival is now in its fifteenth year. It takes place annually on the first weekend of May, in Strokestown, Co. Roscommon, and provides a world-renowned forum for excellence in English, Irish and Scots Gaelic poetry.
The festival consists of readings from poets across the spectrum, well-known and new voices – approximately twenty-four readings over three days. And for these, without fail, it commands large audiences – even at 10am!
