The Tell It Slant Poetry Festival (formerly the Amherst Poetry Festival) is a free event that celebrates the poetic legacy of Emily Dickinson and the contemporary creativity of the Pioneer Valley and beyond. This year’s Festival will be held remotely, and will take place September 14-20, 2020.
Admission to all Festival events is free, but your support makes the Amherst Poetry Festival possible. Online donations are a great way to show your support of poetry and of this beloved annual event!
Festival events include sessions and readings by and with Shayla Lawson, Jan Freeman, Franny Choi, Jericho Brown and more.
