Vallum Magazine: Dreams vs. Nightmares

$3Where do dreams come from? Do nightmares stem from the same root source? What can be considered a dream or a nightmare? How do they figure in our lives, and how do we write about them poetically? Whether psychic or psychological, send us poems that speak to the theme of dreams & nightmares! Deadline: December 1, 2022. Submission fee: We charge a minimum fee of $3 per submission when submitting online. We use this fee to help cover operating costs. Any donation of $10 or greater will be issued a charitable receipt. If this amount presents a barrier to your ability to submit, please contact submission@vallummag.com.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Poetry: Up to 7 pages.
Audio and video poems: Up to 3 files [Audio: MP3, Video: MP4, H.264 encoding, AAC LC audio format]
We are not accepting unsolicited reviews or essays at the moment.
Vallum is interested in original and previously unpublished work. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable but please let us know via submission@vallummag.com as soon as possible if your work is accepted elsewhere. If your work has been published in our most recent issue, please wait one issue before submitting again, at which point we will be happy to consider more of your work.
Vallum also accepts submissions of audio and video poems for possible inclusion in the digital edition. All files must be in MP3 or MPEG-4 file format and cannot exceed 95MB in size.
Submissions are accepted through Submittable only. We do not accept mailed submissions.
