Hello, Neighbour began with residents of Toronto submitting short content pieces animating a favourite element of the city; an intersection or a neighbourhood; a restaurant, a building, a park. Chosen submissions were then taken as inspiration by six artists — poets, writers and playwrights alike — to create pieces that will be performed as new works at Diaspora Dialogues’ Hello, Neighbour event.
