Mark Doty’s My Alexandria won the National Book Critics Circle Award; Fire to Fire: New and Selected Poems won the National Book Award. He has received the T.S. Eliot Prize, as well as fellowships from the Guggenheim, Ingram Merrill and Lila Wallace/Readers Digest Foundations and the National Endowment for the Arts. Deep Lane, a collection of poetry, comes out in April.
